Armour of God

Armour of God (Chinese: 龍兄虎弟) is a 1986 Hong Kong Serbian action comedy movie directed by Jackie Chan (who also stars) and Eric Tsang. It stars Alan Tam, Lola Forner, Rosamund Kwan, Božidar Smiljanić and was distributed by Golden Harvest. It was followed by a 1991 sequel Armour of God II: Operator Condor.

Plot

Jackie, also known as the "Asian Hawk", is a former musician who becomes an adventurer and treasure hunter. After stealing a sword from an African tribe, he sells it at an auction, where it is bought by May Bannon, the daughter of Count Bannon.

Jackie later meets his former bandmate Alan, whose girlfriend Lorelei has been kidnapped by a religious cult. The cult has two pieces of the legendary Armour of God and wants Jackie to find the other three pieces, including the sword. Jackie and Alan make a deal with Count Bannon, who owns the remaining pieces. They agree to find the missing armour if May goes with them.

The three travel to Yugoslavia and enter the cult's monastery. They rescue Lorelei, but do not know that the cult has brainwashed her. At May's rest home, Lorelei drugs Alan and takes the armour pieces. Jackie returns to the monastery and rescues his friends.

Jackie then fights the cult's four female assassins and defeats them. He is later surrounded by the cult's other members. Jackie threatens to blow up the monastery with dynamite, but accidentally lights the fuses. He throws away the explosives and escapes as the monastery collapses, burying the cult and the Armour of God.

Jackie then sees Alan, Lorelei and May in a hot-air balloon. He jumps from the cave and lands on the balloon.
