General Information
- First BEMANI game to run on BEMANI FIREBEAT HARDWARE, which allowed for more storage space and a higher graphical quality. It would later also be used for beatmania III and pop'n music 4 through 8.
- Song list consists entirely of KONAMI originals.
- Only KEYBOARDMANIA game to differentiate difficulty levels between songs.
- Only 10 of KEYBOARDMANIA's 20 songs have song comments on the official website.
- Sound director Naya~n is the only core staff member with no message on the website as well.
- The Korean release of KEYBOARDMANIA, titled KEYBOARDHEAVEN, does not include kimi ni ai ni yukou, Mighty Guy, shiritori and Shining Dream.
