This adds TypeScript types, through JSDoc, while the language of the code remains JavaScript.
It’ll help people who do use TypeScript potentially catch some bugs, but particularly give them documentation about the project in their editors.
The code remains JavaScript so people who are unfamiliar with TypeScript can still contribute.
