What’s the difference between SureFeedback Cloud & Self-Hosted Plugin

SureFeedback Cloud is the hosted version, so you can start collecting feedback fast with a cleaner, smoother review experience. It’s built for modern teams who want less setup and easier collaboration.

SureFeedback Self-Hosted is the WordPress plugin that runs on your own server - Best if you want full control over your environment and data.

Do I need technical knowledge to use SureFeedback?

No. SureFeedback is built for both technical and non-technical teams. Clients can leave feedback by clicking on the page, and your team manages everything from one dashboard.
If you’re more technical, you can use quick setup options like a snippet - but most teams never need anything complicated.

Can I use SureFeedback on Shopify, or other custom sites?

Yes. SureFeedback works beyond WordPress. You can connect Shopify or custom sites using a lightweight setup step, then start collecting feedback directly on the live page.

Do clients or guests need to log in to comment?

No login is required. Guests can leave comments by simply adding their name and email - it's quick and friction-free. 

What are Mockups, and which file types can I upload?

You can upload JPG, PNG, and PDF files and leave comments directly on the design, just like you would on a live page.

Which version is better for WordPress websites - Cloud or Self-Hosted?

For most teams, Cloud is the better default because it’s faster to set up, needs no server maintenance, and makes client reviews easier.
Choose Self-Hosted plugin only if you specifically want everything running on your own server and prefer full control.

Do I need to migrate my projects from Self-Hosted to Cloud?

No. Both versions operate independently, and there is no forced migration.

You can continue using the Self-Hosted plugin as it is and adopt Cloud for new projects based on your requirements. Both versions are maintained separately.

I have already paid for the SureFeedback WordPress plugin. Does this include Cloud?

No. The WordPress plugin and Cloud are separate products.


The plugin is self-hosted and runs on your own server. Cloud is a fully hosted cloud platform where we handle performance, updates, security, and infrastructure. Because Cloud has ongoing costs, it is not included with the plugin purchase.
