Developers can optimize their mobile game for PC to deliver the best player experience. Developers that do not wish to distribute their mobile games on PC can opt out at any time.

When can I expect my native PC game’s distribution and business model to be supported by Google Play Games on PC?
Google Play Games on PC currently supports free-to-play native PC games that also have a Google Play mobile version. In 2025, we will add support for paid native PC games, as well as PC-only games.

Who is eligible for the earnback program?
All native PC games on Google Play Games on PC qualify for the earnback program provided they meet program requirements.
How does the earnback program work?
This program has three tiers. The more revenue a title earns, the more you earnback on that title. The Earnback benefit applies only to the revenue from the PC version of your game on Google Play Games on PC.

What are the technical requirements for enrolling in the earnback program?
In addition to the standard platform technical requirements that apply to all titles on Google Play, you must:
Integrate game build with Google Play Games on PC SDK for billing and sign-in.
Maintain parity between the mobile and Google Play Games on PC versions of the same title, unless capabilities and/or content are not available on PC or if title is PC-only.
Implement Play Games Services’ Recall API if your game supports saving game state to the cloud, in order to ensure a smoother onboarding experience for multi-device users..
Not use Full Screen Exclusive mode by default
Optimize your PC store listing on Google Play Games on PC with a description of gameplay and at least 3 high-resolution screenshots and / or videos.
Can I enroll in the earnback program and Google Play’s 15% service fee tier?
Yes, developers may enroll in both programs. The earnback program is applicable after the 15% service fee tier no longer applies (>$1M (USD) in earnings).
