Curious what works exist compiling traditional commentator's comments on lashon hakodesh synonyms in Torah, e.g. busha and klima, amira and dibur, etc.

Also acceptable is a particular traditional source that is active in discussing these topics.

Not looking for general linguistic information, but specifically Torah sources on nuances of meaning in lashon hakodesh.

  • If by traditional commentator, you include Targum Onkelos, then my basehasefer.com/#/lexicon can be of help. It's pretty good at detecting cases where the same exact Targum is used to translate different words. While it doesn't offer fleshed out discussion, it does provide a thesaurus-like capability where you can click the options Root to Root (or Word to Word) with Targum in common and then enter a word or wildcard-pattern in the search bar to generate listings. A good starter case would be to search for the shoresh צעק which will generate equivalents of קרא, עתר, פלל, זעק.

Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Meklenberg, in his work "הכתב והקבלה" deals with this subject in many different places. An effort has been made to index the different words and their interpretations as they appear in הכתב והקבלה. The name of the work is תורת הכתב והקבלה, and the relevant index is found in the section called "פניני הכתב והקבלה", and begins here.

R. Yehuda Leib haLevi Edel wrote a book on synonyms, רדיפי מיא. ביאור מילים נרדפות. Unfortunately this book is not available on HebrewBooks.org.
