IV‑Navigator (IV‑H1) — software for KEYENCE IV vision sensors

IV‑Navigator (model IV‑H1) is a PC application from KEYENCE designed to configure, monitor, and manage IV series vision sensors. It coordinates multiple vision sensors and cameras to capture and evaluate real‑time images of manufactured parts and materials, enabling automated measurement, defect detection, and statistical analysis within production and inspection environments.

Core capabilities focus on creating and deploying inspection programs, collecting measurement data, and analyzing trends to support quality control. The software provides tools for setting up detection algorithms, defining measurement routines, and running scheduled or continuous inspections across one or more connected sensors via Ethernet.

System requirements for IV‑H1 include a Windows PC (Windows 10, 7, or older Windows XP support listed), at least 1 GB of available disk space, a display resolution of 1,024 × 768 or higher, and an Ethernet port. .NET Framework 4.0 or 4.5 is required and will be installed if not present. For Windows XP the documentation specifies a Pentium III class CPU and recommends 1 GB RAM; for Windows 7 and 10 the PC must meet each OSs system requirements.

The IV‑H1 model has been discontinued; KEYENCE lists IV2‑H1 as the recommended replacement for the IV2 series. Documentation and downloads, including catalogs, data sheets, manuals, and CAD files, remain available from KEYENCE for reference and migration planning.
