Mike Cannon-Brookes co-founded Atlassian and has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2002, as our Chief Executive Officer since September 2024, and as our Co-Chief Executive Officer from October 2002 to August 2024. Mr. Cannon-Brookes has also served as an adjunct professor of computer science & engineering at the University of New South Wales, Australia since April 2014. Mr. Cannon-Brookes holds a Bachelor of Commerce in information systems from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Amy Glancey is the Chief of Staff at Atlassian. Joining Atlassian in 2016 as the Director of Communications for APAC, Amy expanded her remit to Director of Communications for Global Markets covering APAC & EMEA footprints. In 2018 Amy took the position of Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO. Prior to Atlassian, Amy spent four years at Groupon where she led the communications team across 14 markets in APAC. Prior to Groupon, Amy held various roles across the U.S, U.K, and APAC in both the private and public sector. Amy has a degree in Communications and a Masters in Journalism both of which she graduated with Distinction.

Atlassian Chief People and AI Enablement Officer, Avani Prabhakar, leads Atlassian's People and Transformations organisation with a sharp focus on unlocking potential in the AI era – blending purpose, systems thinking, and modern leadership to shape the future of work.

Avani’s focus is on enabling the cultural transformation required alongside the technology shift – to build AI-fluent teams and unlock opportunity. She has been instrumental in pioneering the distributed work models and ways of working that underpin Atlassian’s Team Anywhere approach, and is actively embedding AI up-skilling, scaling, and innovation across the organisation.

With 20+ years across tech, aviation, engineering, professional services and consulting, Avani keeps Atlassian's people-first approach practical and grounded, to build human + AI collaboration and capability in complex, high-growth environments.

Brian Duffy is Atlassian’s Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for the sales and success teams. He brings over 20 years of extensive experience. Previously, Brian spent 18 years at SAP, where he served as President of Cloud. In that role, he launched, built, and scaled the strategic initiative 'RISE with SAP' to help customers transition to the cloud. Through agility, focus, and innovative migration practices, he grew RISE from an initiative into a multi-billion dollar business within two years.

Following his time at SAP, Brian became the CEO of SoftwareOne, where he positioned the company for its next phase of growth and strengthened relationships with customers and partners.

Brian has gained significant international experience from his time living and working in the United States, Europe, China, and Japan. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Law from University College Dublin, Ireland, and a Master's Degree in International Business and Trade Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Brian maintains his license to practice law and is admitted to practice in New York State.

Charlie Sutton is a senior design executive with over two decades of experience leading high-performing design teams at some of the world’s most influential technology companies. His career spans the full spectrum of design—from speculative R&D and innovation strategy to global consumer mobile experiences, enterprise software platforms, and service delivery.

Charlie’s leadership is defined by his ability to bridge disciplines and cultures. He has guided interdisciplinary teams tackling everything from long-range hardware projects to next-generation digital products, always with an eye toward crafting meaningful, human-centered experiences. This diverse background equips him with a rare, systems-level perspective on design leadership.

In addition to his industry work, Charlie is a passionate educator in Design Strategy and Interaction Design. He has taught at several institutions, most recently serving as a Lecturer at California College of the Arts.

Charlie lives in the Northern Rivers region of Australia, where he balances his creative pursuits with a love for surfing and the outdoors.

James Chuong is Atlassian's Chief Financial Officer, leading the company's global financial and legal teams. Prior to joining Atlassian, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of LinkedIn, leading LinkedIn’s financial operations that support the company’s business strategy, from July 2021 to March 2026. He previously held several finance leadership roles since joining LinkedIn in 2013, leading global teams responsible for financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, international finance, and financial planning systems. Prior to LinkedIn, James spent several years as an investment banker for notable financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, and Bank of America Securities. He holds an MBA in Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and B.A. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Ken Exner is Atlassian’s Chief Product Officer, Enterprise & Emerging, driving product strategy across the Enterprise & Emerging businesses, including Service Collection, Enterprise Foundations, and Public Sector.  Prior to joining Atlassian, he served as Chief Product Officer of Elastic, where he led product management, engineering, product design, and information security, helping expand Elastic’s observability and security businesses, accelerate its move to cloud and SaaS offerings, and reposition its search platform for the AI era through vector search, retrieval, and context engineering.

Before Elastic, Ken spent 16 years at Amazon Web Services, where he was part of the early AWS team and helped build the cloud business from its earliest days. At AWS, he launched and managed dozens of cloud services, helped define early AWS platform capabilities, built the AWS Management Console, account and support systems, SDKs, and developer tools, and later led the internal tools and DevOps platforms used across Amazon.

Ken has spent more than 30 years in technology, with much of his career focused on developer tools, cloud platforms, enterprise software, and the systems that help teams build and operate software at scale. He holds a B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. 

Stan Shepard is the General Counsel of Atlassian, where he leads the Legal, Policy and Government Affairs, Sustainability, and Social Impact teams. He joined Atlassian in 2015, and has served in several leadership roles during that time, including Deputy General Counsel and Head of Commercial Transactions. Prior to joining Atlassian, Stan practiced technology transactions at Charles Schwab and spent several years in private practice at Gunderson Dettmer. He also sits on the boards of Business Software Alliance and the Atlassian Foundation. Stan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University. 

Tamar Yehoshua is Atlassian’s Chief Product and AI Officer, driving the company’s vision for the future of teamwork in the age of AI. She leads Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection and AI strategy, uniting product, design, and intelligent experiences to help teams work smarter, faster, and more creatively. Her goal: build AI‑native, world‑class products that set the standard for how millions of knowledge workers get things done.

She most recently served as President of Product and Technology at Glean, advancing intelligent search and knowledge discovery. Previously, as Chief Product Officer at Slack, she led product, design, and research through a tenfold revenue increase, a public listing, and acquisition by Salesforce. Earlier in her career, she led product and engineering for Search, Identity, and Privacy at Google, and held leadership roles at A9.com, Amazon’s search organization. She has also served on the boards of RetailMeNot, ServiceNow, Snyk, and Yext.

Tamar holds an MS in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Taroon Mandhana is CTO of AI and Teamwork at Atlassian. In his role, Taroon oversees engineering teams responsible for Atlassian’s flagship products, including Jira, Confluence, and Loom—which are bundled within the Teamwork Collection. He also leads the development of Rovo, Atlassian's AI, which includes Search, Chat, Agents, and Studio.

Outside of Atlassian, Taroon holds nearly 15 years of AI experience. In his previous roles, he led the Search team at Microsoft Bing and later joined Meta to lead their Facebook Search and Marketplace teams. In his second stint at Microsoft, he led the company’s content teams and built the personalized recommendation feed, Microsoft Start.

Taroon graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and received his Master’s from the University of Texas at Austin. In his free time, he enjoys going on hikes around the Pacific Northwest with his family.

As Atlassian's CTO Enterprise, Chief Trust Officer, Vikram Rao holds dual leadership over enterprise engineering and trust, two foundational pillars of Atlassian's platform. He drives enterprise engineering across the Enterprise & Emerging businesses, including Service Collection, Enterprise Foundations, and Public Sector, while overseeing the company's end-to-end trust framework encompassing security, privacy, compliance, governance, and risk management.

Vikram has over two decades of experience in security and engineering fields serving consumer, enterprise and cloud customers. Prior to Atlassian, Vikram was the the Chief Trust Officer at Salesforce where he empowered organizations everywhere to leverage trust as a key enabler of innovation in a digital economy. Before joining Salesforce, he spent 18 years at Microsoft in a variety of engineering leadership roles, including engineering general management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

He previously served as an advisory board member for the World Economic Forum’s Digital Trust Steering Committee.
