Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18 or later
  • npm or yarn
  • OpenWeatherMap API key (get it for free at OpenWeatherMap)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/taynotfound/weatherweb.git
cd weatherweb
  1. Install dependencies:
npm install
# or
yarn install
  1. Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add your OpenWeatherMap API key:
NEXT_PUBLIC_OPENWEATHER_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
  1. Start the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
  1. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to see the app.
