Hi,

I’d like to request support for setting up a Docker image publishing flow.
The idea is to manage the Docker image in either GitHub Container Registry or Docker Hub (depending on what the project currently uses or prefers).

I assume it’s GitHub Container Registry, but just to be sure, maybe it’s Docker Hub.

My plan:

  • I will prepare a Pull Request that includes a GitHub Action for building and publishing the Docker image.
  • I need to know if this repository/project already has Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry configured, or if I should
    create one.

Question:

  • Which registry should we target for publishing (Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry)?
  • Are there any existing credentials/secrets I should rely on, or should we create new ones for this purpose?

Thanks in advance for the guidance!
