No. LTS branches receive only bugfixes, not new features.

This SMTP issue in 2026 with Microsoft is quite problematic...

But it wouldn't receive maintenance until 2027, and then only security fixes...

There had been an open issue calling for contributors interested into a bridge using the Microsoft Graph API Email for years before someone actually decided that they care enough to actually write code instead of just putting "+1" on the issue. Apparently, nobody cared enough to have this feature implemented during the 6.x development time.

"Maintained version" means we fix bugs, not that we backport features into patch versions for the branch (which would be against semver btw).

Note that we don't force you to use 6.4. The solution to benefit from latest features is to update to the latest version. This is even the official recommendation (see https://symfony.com/releases, where it is even highlighted)

If these requirements https://github.com/symfony/microsoft-graph-mailer/blob/cb25ce2a9484981e5b6827196ba605a2654e3691/composer.json?plain=1#L28-L30 are compatible with Symfony 6.4 and you agree to have 6.4 and 7.4 versions for clock and mailer in your project, it may be possible to install symfony/microsoft-graph-mailer when it will be released on next month.
