noxtohatch envupdating the following files initially created byscikit-hep/cookie:.github/CONTRIBUTING.md.github/workflows/ci.ymlpyproject.tomlTwo particular notes:
pre-commitin the hatch env, although I certainly could have done so, it feels likepre-commitbelongs outside of the package fundamentallypytestto keep the equivalent functionality thatnoxhad (as best as I could) -- but this does come with the minor caveat that one needs to keep the version consistent between the matrices in.github/workflows/ci.ymlandpyproject.tomlas I usehatch run +py=${{ matrix.python-version}} dev:testto pick out the version to run.
