hi !

I have a problem that has eaten my nerves

pls help me

problem:
i want to send photo by URL using "send_photo"

I have a list of links that I want to send but not all links are sent and I do not know what to do

Were there any restrictions on sending photos?

EX:

this my code and not all links are sent

Hi. Do you get any specific error message? If yes, please show the traceback.
In general, Telegram is sometimes a bit picky about URLs. In my experience links ending on a file ending work more reliable than links that don't.

i think it's just about telegram :(

Do you have logging and/or an error handler enabled? Otherwise you probably just won't see the exception.
which of the images are sent, which arent?

That sounds like you swallow the error somewhere, silently failing is really untypical.

Try raising telegram.error.BadRequest in the for loop and see if that shows up in your logging file.

Hey,
Did you manage to fix your problem?
I’m facing the same issue when trying to send a photo via Telegram bot. It gives me this error:

BadRequest: Wrong type of the web page content

I’m using an image URL. Strangely, when I switch the image from JPG to PNG format, it works perfectly.
I’d really appreciate it if you could share how you solved this or any tips you have.
