I think I remember adding plotdevice to a survey I was making of tools for teaching coding with drawing, and that other than the Mac app editor, the standalone Python module was cross-platform, is my memory playing tricks on me?

I suppose that keeping it cross-platform was too much of a burden... On related subject, have you seen drawbot-skia?
