Long-time perspective-heads may have noticed a few changes to the GitHub repo this week :)
The Perspective project is joining the OpenJS Foundation! You can follow along with the process in #3065.
What's changed?
Perspective
4.0.0is out now. For Pythonperspective-pythonand Rustperspectivepackages, you just need to update to the latest version. JavaScript NPM packages, which were previously scoped as@finoson NPM, have moved and will not longer be published in this scope (v3.8.0is the last version for these packages). Instead, use these packages for Perspective4.0.0:@finos/perspective@perspective-dev/clientand@perspective-dev/server@finos/perspective-viewer@perspective-dev/viewer@finos/perspective-viewer-datagrid@perspective-dev/viewer-datagrid@finos/perspective-viewer-d3fc@perspective-dev/viewer-d3fc@finos/perspective-viewer-openlayers@perspective-dev/viewer-openlayers@finos/perspective-workspace@perspective-dev/workspace@finos/perspective-react@perspective-dev/reactWith the future release of
4.1.0, we'll deprecate the NPM package names as well, which will create a console warning when a project tries to install them (but won't make them unavailable). In addition, the a few internet resources have moved (but the old links will still forward for now):
