Scientific writing demands precision, consistency, and efficient management of references and images. Using LaTeX, combined with the robust capabilities of GitHub Actions, can significantly enhance your workflow. This blog post introduces a template repository designed to help researchers write, compile, and manage their scientific articles more effectively.

The template repository is available at github.com/feelpp/article.template, we just released the v1.

It is used by the Feel++ Consortium as a template repository for our articles.

Some features you might find interesting:

  • automated PDF generation upon commits
  • automated release creation upon tag of the form v* including prerelease support if -alpha.*, -beta.* or -preview.* is appended

The release asset can then be used to upload the paper on HAL or Arxiv.

Enjoy!
