When will GitHub add issue widgets? I'm tired of having to open the app to see my issues. A widget listing my issues would be much more practical.

Having issue widgets for quick access would definitely make tracking open issues a lot smoother, especially on mobile.
Right now, GitHub doesn’t seem to have native widgets for issues yet, but you can upvote or comment on existing feature requests in the GitHub Mobile Feedback discussions
to show support.

It might also help to specify what you’d like to see in the widget — for example:

  1. Listing assigned/open issues
  2. Filtering by repository or label
  3. Showing notifications or due dates

That kind of detail helps the GitHub team prioritize feature development.
