I discovered this issue in our pipeline since we are using the latest node Docker image for our Gitlab pipeline. Our tests all failed in the pipeline but were passing locally when I was on v10.15.3. I tried updating my node version to 11.11.0 and tried running the tests but they all failed.

This error was displayed for each test in our jest suite:

 Test suite failed to run

    TypeError: Cannot assign to read only property 'Symbol(Symbol.toStringTag)' of object '#<process>'

      at exports.default (node_modules/jest-util/build/create_process_object.js:15:34)
