includes workaround which symlinks /usr/include/asm to /usr/include/asm-generic, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-defaults/+bug/825574/comments/2

caveat: You cannot run tests on the 32-bit binary because it simply won't load on the 64-bit Travis system.

Travis build worked! Nice! All that's left is making sure that the correct binaries get published to S3.

Upgrading to atom 1.8.0-beta1 has fixed the issue for me. Working flawlessly now :)
