I'm really struggling to get a dev clone up and running. Hatch commands work, and I have modified the yaml for the docs successfully, but changes (including intentional breakage) to the commands and Mkdocs classes are not used when calling things like

hatch run docs:build
hatch run docs:serve

My intent is just to learn about the Mkdocs flow by making small changes. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if this was the correct approach, but removing type = "pip-compile" from [tool.hatch.envs.docs] in pyproject.toml seemed to do the trick. It was really a shot in the dark though...
