Fixed instructions in HTML, cleaned up js in branches_for_birds (since I was looking there) to use single quotes in both instances, and use the more standard ./ notation to notate that it is looking at a file.

Suggested fix for issue 285, change instruction for "Patchwork/contributors" to just "contributors"
Also suggest cleaning up Patchwork repository, as the directory structure is helping to lead to this messiness.
