Based on my recent works on Local ORPC & stubborn (https://blog.exatrack.com/STUBborn/) I tried to make the ORPC call working on other version of Windows.
The difficulty come from 2 undocumented structures that change between version :
LOCALTHISandLOCALTHAT.Based on analysis of multiple
combase.dllversion I have now good hope that I found them all. With1.0.3the ORPC Call will use the appropriateLOCALTHISbased on the version. For ORPC responses, the correct
LOCALTHATstructure is used, parsed and discarded beforeRPCClient.callreturns.
