@kushalkolar Feel free to add your thoughts, but from what you sent me, I think the general idea is to have an API for cycling colors when clicking or defining lines/scatter?

Things that come to mind:

• generating colors (pre-set list, random and then compare to existing)
• optional kwarg to give lines or scatters unique colors
