Dropping support for end-of-life Python versions #772

pawelrubin started this conversation in General
Discussion options

The library supports (sometimes explicitly in the codebase) end-of-life Python versions (2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7). Removing this support will simplify the code where handling old versions requires careful and explicit logic.
