Yes, I see the irony in a Perforce library being hosted on github.

That’s fine though because Perforce makes you renew your open source license with them every year. I’m sick of filing and faxing the paperwork. Not to mention, my server pukes its brains out every once in a while.

Do note that Perforce recently (2010) released a new Java library that replaces their old P4J library. (P4J suckiness prompted the creation of P4Java.) Unfortunately, they named it the same as this one so there is confusion. Use this P4Java if your project currently uses it. Use Perforce’s new library if you are starting a new project.
