How could the content be improved?

Hello everyone,
This issue is just an idea and possible improvement or alternative to the Capstone Challenge.

I recently ran into pill counting via images for pharmaceutical purposes. To get an idea, see this video. In summary, we would like to count pills/capsules from an image for a prescription. I feel that this application would be somewhat more relatable and more understandable for anyone compared to the bacteria colony challenge we currently have.

At the same time, it could also be easily extended for more advanced segmentation tasks. For example, it could be used to detect fragmented (i.e. broken/incomplete) pills (like shown here) or also pills of different color or shape.

I even found an Android app that could be used to show the application here.

The only downside is that I didn't (easily) find any public dataset that we could readily use, although I don't think it would be hard to actually take some pictures with a smartphone.
