Discussion Content

In large discussion threads like those that are feedback on github features, it's impossible to just subscribe to responses to your own comment. This makes this useless as a two way thing. I can either subscribe to all comments that come in the future on the entire discussion or none.

Please make it possible to subscribe to a comment, not a discussion.

For a specific example, the discussion https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/163932 has 1719 comments and 582 replies.
I've left one comment, about a bug, but I don't care about any other comments on that discussion, or any future comments except those about the bug. I assume my comment reached 1719 people which is many more than care about this bug. I have to unsubscribe from notifications on that to prevent further comments reaching my notifications / inbox.

I'm sure someone has probably raised this before, but I was unable to find a good set of search terms to discover this.
