What is your suggestion?

I would love it if there was a way to map the menu bar items to the native macOS menu bar. It would probably require a helper app (or a wrapper app).

Why do you want this feature?

To make feel Code Server more like the Electron app and use macOS default shortcuts.

Are there any workarounds to get this functionality today?

Not that I am aware of.
