As of 2025, Microsoft's official Remote - SSH extension for VS Code does not support the RISC-V (riscv64) architecture. This is because the extension requires a proprietary "VS Code Server" binary to run on the target board, and Microsoft does not currently provide a pre-built version for RISC-V. See microsoft/vscode-remote-release#4802. |

I want use vscode to ssh for riscv board, however It say "platform not support", I want ask if this support riscv board, or What other tools I can use to write code in editors which connect the board? Sincerely waiting for your reply!
