Update: I found I don't need to preserve JSX. Line numbers stay the same even after the compilation.


I have a use case where I want to transform TypeScript to JavaScript. Then I can compare them, to know how many lines of TypeScript things (type, interface, etc.) are in the source file.

In my use case, I want to keep original file's syntax as much as possible. Is here a way to preserve JSX and comments?
