Hi there, I'm Alex 👋

I'm a chemist and a chemical engineer by training, with a primary focus on computational chemistry. In a past life, I was an academic: I earned my PhD in chemical engineering at University of Florida and did a postdoc in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. Now, I work at a startup in New York City called Mirror Physics. I mostly write Python code, but occasionally dabble in Rust.
