Hi, recently I just made a PR about changing the style of the links #271 . Unfortunately, I forgot to read the CONTRIBUTING pages first and read it right after I made the PR. So here I am, made a proposal.

I presume you already know that Markdown support two styles of the links: Inline and Reference.

So, I changed the style from inline to reference, to make the job easier for contributor to edit it in the future. The PR I made only changed the File links.
