Repository files navigation

⚠️ This project is no longer actively supported.

Up for a challenge?

The purpose of this repo is to provide folks an opportunity to evaluate Inspect's motion functionality (now in private beta!) 🎉🎉🎉 There are two animations inside the attached Studio file. See if you can implement both to 100% accuracy using Inspect Motion.

Instructions

  1. Fork this repo
  2. Publish the attached Studio file as a prototype to your InVision team account. (Don't have Studio? Free Download here)
  3. Use the provided markup and our Inspect Motion tool to implement both animations to 100% accuracy.
  4. Submit your fork for review and kudos!

Have questions or feedback? Inside Inspect Motion there is a pink chat icon. Click to rate your experience and give us feedback on what we can improve. Or reach out to jakereed@invisionapp.com.

Notes on the provided code

We provide basic markup and CSS to serve as a jumping off point for implementation. The markup and CSS doesn't require any preprocessors or build steps. There is a simple javascript function that toggles a class .expanded on the #app div and this is used to translate the navigation in the CSS.

Run a simple server to see the code in action. Python example:

cd /to/the/directory
python -m SimpleHTTPServer

And then visit localhost on the port reported by the console.
You can see the markup running here: https://invisionapp.github.io/inspect-motion-example/
