This repository houses ArcGIS Raster Types implemented in Python. This repository also contains developer-centric documentation on how to implement a custom raster type that ArcGIS can understand using Python.

Python Raster type framework was introduced in ArcGIS 10.5.1. To get started, install ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 or later or ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 or later.
