My scripts for modifying sewing patterns and generating fabric patterns. Each script is supposed to be used as an individual script; this is not a python module.

Extract dressforms out of PDFs.

Usage:

python3 patchwork.py --filename pattern.pdf --size 'M'

Merge two dressforms into a single dressform by warping the other sides

Usage:

• first, copy the dressforms to be merged into a new SVG, and drag them so that they line up along the side to be merged together, like this:

Then, run:

python3 merge_pieces.py --filename to_merge.svg

Flatten a filmbox model to a sewing pattern. python <= 3.3 only. Install the Autodesk FBX python extensions first.

Usage:

python2.7 filmbox_to_pattern.py --fbx workspace/your_fbx.FBX

Repeat an svg in a cairo tiling pattern.

Usage:

python2.7 pattern_tiling.py --filename workspace/PSF_snake_white.svg --dx 0.25 --dy -0 --repetitions 3
