i think she is so ok with it because from the way he entered she can tell thats from fighting to get to the dance just to be with her , and if thats not love i dont know what is , i mean the mf fought kidnappers and a moutain lion just to get to that dance
It's a slice of life that shows the dirty bits. And also has a lot of dirty bits. I'm not sure why it wouldn't also have kids being kids, because as it turns out they come from some of those dirty bits.
Sure, there's a lot more of the dirty bits that couldn't generate kids, but that's true in life, too. If every sex act generated kids, we'd have overpopulated the planet before the first generation humans died.
Not really. It's slice of life and there's a lot of plotlines happening at once, so it's not that weird to me that there is a plot about pre-teen romance.
It's certainly 'not the usual' in the world of comics but, well... This comic seems to like to dip its toes in the whole spectrum. Well-adjusted people, mal-adjusted people; sexuality, wholesomeness; weird and fantastical, normal and relatable; long-lasting plot arcs, complete randomness.
Personally? I think it kind of brings perspective and character to the world, that it doesn't sit and stagnate in only one extreme. And the kids are cute, in a totally normal way, despite the not-so-normal antics. Notably this comic has some of my favourite youth characters of any fiction out there, even counting ones where youth characters are the main characters.
They are probably the best couple here. Seriously after what he went through to even get there and for her to not even care that he is covered in blood; the world will end when if they break up.
