Reasoning for WP Insects and Beetles

Hi! I should've clarified a lot earlier, but the reason why I'm tagging {{WikiProject Beetles}} articles with {{WikiProject Insects}} too is because of this discussion, where Tom.Reding points out that WikiProject Beetles is semi-active. Sorry, I didn't notice that you already reverted another user's modification of "comprised of". However, "comprised of" is not that accepted as "consists of", see this article. --Cyfal (talk) 17:04, 31 July 2026 (UTC)

I would point out that article very much equivocates in its closing remarks, and actively calls "comprised of" established and standard. That SOME people have an aversion to its use is a rule against its usage, as that article carefully tiptoes around. Its also the editorial opinion of a single dictionary, not of ll dictionaries.--Kevmin § 17:26, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
