Was his wife's maiden name Powles or Towles - each is used once in the article - Can anyone check the Select marriages ref ? - Rod57 (talk) 09:50, 6 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography article gives the name as Powles, as did the Dictionary of Welsh Biography (text available here: https://biography.wales/article/s-GROV-ROB-1811 ). TowardsTheLight (talk) 08:43, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
