This photo was published in print in several publications in New York during 1925, including on the cover of the October 1925 issue of Birth Control Review newsletter ( https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015016464623&seq=263 ). Also New York Public Library's (NYPL) has the photo in its "Kitty Marion Papers" collection at https://www.nypl.org/blog/2008/06/19/kitty-marion-birth-control-advocate. The NYPL catalog for that collection describes the photo as ".... a photo of Miss Marion selling The Birth Control Review that ran with several newspaper articles" (on page 4 of https://www.nypl.org/sites/default/files/archivalcollections/pdf/marion.pdf ) which indicates that the photo ran in other newspapers, in addition to the Birth Control Review. |
