Production

Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Barry Keoghan star, with Hemsworth also producing alongside Ben Grayson.[2][3]
Amazon won a bidding war for the rights to the novella in 2023, beating out Netflix with Pedro Pascal originally in talks to star alongside Hemsworth before dropping out due to scheduling conflicts with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.[4] In October, Halle Berry, Corey Hawkins and Monica Barbaro joined the cast in undisclosed roles.[5][6][7] In November, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Nick Nolte, Tate Donovan, Babak Tafti, Payman Maadi, Deborah Hedwall, Devon Bostick, Paul Adelstein, Drew Powell, and Matthew Del Negro rounded out the cast.[8]
Principal photography began in October 2024, in Los Angeles.[5][9] Jacob Secher Schulsinger serves as the editor.[10]
