Aumolertinib, sold under the brand name Ameile among others, is an anti-cancer medication used for the treatment of lung cancer.[3] It is an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor.[4]

Medical uses

[edit]

In China, aumolertinib is approved for the treatment of people with EGFR T790M mutation—positive non-small-cell lung cancer who have progressed on or after other EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy.[5][6]

In the European Union, aumolertinib, as monotherapy, is indicated for the first-line treatment of adults with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer whose tumors have EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutations;[1] and for the treatment of adults with advanced EGFR T790M mutation positive NSCLC.[1]

Society and culture

[edit]
[edit]

In December 2025, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency adopted a positive opinion, recommending the granting of a marketing authorization for the medicinal product Aumseqa, intended for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).[1] The applicant for this medicinal product is SFL Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH.[1] Aumolertinib was authorized for medical use in the European Union in February 2026.[1][2]

Names

[edit]

Aumolertinib is the international nonproprietary name.[7]

Aumolertinib is sold under the brand names Ameile and Aumseqa.
