Baseline
2025
Newly available
Since December 2025, this feature works across the latest devices and browser versions. This feature might not work in older devices or browsers.
The ariaRowIndexText property of the Element interface reflects the value of the aria-rowindextext attribute, which defines a human readable text alternative of aria-rowindex.
Value
A string.
Examples
In this example the aria-rowindextext attribute on the element with an ID of role-heading is set to "Heading row". Using ariaRowIndexText we update the value to "Updated heading row".
