Edward Julien Moinet (1873-1952) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

He received a recess appointment from President Calvin Coolidge on June 13, 1927 to a new seat created by 44 Stat. 1380. On December 6, 1927, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 19th, and received commission that same day. On February 28, 1946, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on December 23, 1952.[1] Moinet was succeeded in this position by Theodore Levin.
