Custom Widgets supports the following layer types: • Text: Add custom text using a wide variety of fonts, colors, gradients, and effects • Image: Add PNG or JPG images and preserve PNG transparency • Shape: Create shapes using gradients and visual effects to build unique designs • Weather: Display current conditions, forecasts, temperature, icons, and weather descriptions based on your location • Activity & Health: Uses Apple Health integration to display steps, activity goals, and workout information as rings, bars, or text • Date and Time: Display the current time, date, seconds, and more using a wide variety of fonts and effects • Device: Show battery level and other device-specific information • Icon: Add icons to enhance the visual appearance of your widgets • Image Strips: Use advanced images that change based on the date, time, or phase of the moon • Hands: Use vectors or custom images to add animated clock hands to your designs Notes: • Custom Widgets optionally integrates with Apple Health. Health data can be used to display workout metrics, activity information, and daily progress summaries. Permission to access this data is managed through the Apple Health app. • Custom Widgets includes an optional Widgets+ premium subscription available on a monthly or annual basis. If you choose to purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Auto-renewal can be managed at any time through your App Store Account Settings. • Access to hosted weather data is available exclusively to Widgets+ premium subscribers.   • Great new feature for creators: Instead of just new layers, you can now add MODULES, which are groups of layers. Examples of this might be a steps icon + data label and a nice graphical box all added in one tap. This will make creating new designs faster than ever. We will be adding new modules in the future. This current list is just a preview of whats to come. -Deleting groups is easier than before -- you can delete the group header or the entire group and its contents.
