we released SIMD-oriented Fast Mersenne Twister (SFMT).
SFMT is roughly twice faster than the original Mersenne Twister,
and has a better equidistibution property, as well as a quicker
recovery from zero-excess initial state. Click

If you send an email when you use Mersenne Twister (MT),
it will encourage us - even if we are unable to reply to all the messages we receive.
Please let us know when you find any problems.

Caution: Mersenne Twister is basically for Monte-Carlo simulations - it is not cryptographically secure "as is".
