A conference is being held to look at the opportunities available to businesses in providing renewable energy in the East of England.
Renewables East, which was set up by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), has organised the meeting on 29 March in Petteridge Bury, near Luton.
In particular it will explore the opportunities created by planned wind farm projects around the east coast.
Renewables East is a not-for-profit firm set up to promote green energy.
In January this year EEDA unveiled plans for a landmark £6.7m building for Orbis Energy at Ness Point in Lowestoft
Not-for-profit company Orbis Energy, which has been spearheaded by Renewables East, aims to boost the development of the offshore renewable energy sector for the East of England.
The building is designed to be a showcase for sustainable development and solar thermal heating.
